A visit from young students in rural China reminds us that the most meaningful change is built through patience, connection, and long-term commitment.
When Curiosity Meets Opportunity
A group of outstanding middle school students from Yongsheng County, Yunnan Province, recently visited Earthmother's headquarters as part of a youth development program organized by the Sangguo Youth Development Center.

Coming from a region known for its beautiful landscapes and promising young talent, many of these students have had limited opportunities to engage with the wider world. This visit offered them a valuable chance to step inside a modern enterprise, broaden their horizons, and explore new possibilities for the future.
More than a company tour, it became a meaningful conversation about growth, responsibility, and the power of long-term commitment.
A Lesson Beyond the Classroom
The Sangguo Youth Development Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to youth development and educational equity. By connecting urban young people with students from rural communities, it creates opportunities for mutual learning, inspiration, and personal growth.

During the visit, students listened attentively, notebooks in hand, eager to learn.
Earthmother founder Liu Chong shared the company's journey—not as a business presentation, but as a story about perseverance. He spoke about how Earthmother grew from a simple belief in doing one thing well into a company where environmental responsibility is embedded in every process, every product, and every decision.

Behind every high-performance insulation material lies years of research and refinement. Developing a more sustainable flame-retardant process can require hundreds of experiments before reaching commercial application.
Throughout the visit, students asked thoughtful questions—not only about business and technology, but also about future careers, innovation, and the relationship between technology and environmental responsibility.
Education is ultimately about creating connections: between schools and society, between knowledge and practice, and between today's learning and tomorrow's opportunities.
From Online Mentorship to Face-to-Face Inspiration
Earthmother has long supported rural education through donations of insulation materials, school facilities, books, and computers. Over time, however, we came to realize that meaningful educational impact goes far beyond providing resources.
At its heart, education is about people.

(Donation Activities)
With this belief, Earthmother donated RMB 100,000 to the Sangguo Youth Development Center in 2021 to support its One-on-One Peer Mentorship Program.
The initiative pairs outstanding high school volunteers from cities such as Shanghai with middle school students in rural communities including Shaxi (Yunnan) and Xingtai (Hebei). Through weekly online English tutoring, these young mentors help build not only academic skills, but also confidence, curiosity, and a broader vision of the world.

The results demonstrate the power of sustained commitment.
At Shaxi Middle School, more than 60% of participating students achieved significant improvements in English, with average final exam scores increasing by around 20 points.
Yet the most meaningful transformation cannot be measured by numbers alone. It is reflected in students who become more confident, who volunteer answers for the first time, and who find the courage to speak up and read aloud.
The program's impact was recognized nationally when it received the 2022 Fosun Pramerica National Outstanding Youth Community Volunteer Organization Award.
Education and Sustainability Share the Same Philosophy
At the end of the visit, one student quietly said:
"One day, I hope I can dedicate myself to something that's slow—but truly worthwhile."

Perhaps that is exactly the answer our fast-moving world needs.
Both education and environmental protection demand patience. Neither delivers instant results. Both require years of consistent effort, quiet persistence, and unwavering belief in the future.
But over time, they reshape lives, strengthen communities, and create lasting change.

Looking ahead, Earthmother will continue advancing its environmental mission while supporting educational initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for young people.
Because we believe that every seed planted with care—and every moment invested with purpose—will one day grow into something far greater than we can imagine.
