When storing, if you need to do dustproof, packaging treatment of XPS, try to use white opaque material to reduce the collection of heat; at the same time, the storage location should have a roof and other shade, try to avoid XPS in the sun exposure, resulting in high temperature damage to XPS.

When used for roofing

After XPS is paved, try to complete the paving of covering materials such as mulch, roofing membrane or ballast on the same day to avoid XPS discoloration, wind-induced displacement or damage caused by excessive sunlight heat build-up.

When used for flooring

When installing black/dark (non-white) tape or waterproof/air barrier membranes over XPS, avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and proceed to the next step of the process as soon as possible by covering the surface with a daily final finish or a temporary white opaque covering to avoid possible damage.
