Construction Processes and Technical Points
I. Project overview
Insulation material: Earthmother building energy-saving insulation board 50mm thickness, flame retardant grade B1, surface brushing process
1. Specific practice: Wall surface grass-roots treatment → Install the fire-proof XPS insulation board onto the wall → Put insulation board in staggered splicing → Cover with mortar and reinforced fiberglass mesh → Fix insulation nails → Cover with mortar again
II. Construction process
1)Original wall base treatment
1, Clean up the residual floating ash on the concrete wall, mold releasing agent oil and other debris on the concrete wall, as well as plastering hollow areas, etc.
2, Polish the protruding wall surface, repair the concave parts, ensure the whole wall flatness within 4mm.
2) Laying of insulation boards
1, Paste insulation board using point sticking method or strip sticking method, insulation board paving must be staggered construction, joints at the excess mortar should be shoveled.

2, The mortar covers an area of about 50% board surface area to ensure that the insulation board is firmly bonded to the wall.
3, The width of the splices of the insulation board should be less than ≤ 4mm, when exceeded, it is necessary to fill with insulation material.
4, According to T/CREA 010-2022 thermal insulation decorative panel external wall exterior insulation engineering technology standards, thermal insulation board installation should comply with:

3)Cover with mortar and reinforced fiberglass mesh
1, Pressing a fiberglass mesh into the mortar of the plastered surface can provide a crack-resistant protective layer for the wall;
2, A layer of plastering mortar should be applied to the insulation board before hanging the mesh. It is strictly prohibited that the bottom layer is not coated with mortar directly dry-hanging mesh construction
3, Glass fiber mesh pressed into the surface layer after the surface smoothing compaction, until vaguely visible grid, the total thickness control in about 3 ~ 5mm;
4, Mesh cloth left and right lap width of not less than 100mm, up and down lap width of 80mm;
5, Hanging mesh should first be treated around windows, doors, and openings, partial reinforcement followed by extensive netting
4) Fix insulation nails
1, Reinforced fixing of insulation boards with insulation nails; Insulation nails should be sized according to the thickness of the insulation board
2, The actual depth of the insulation nail through the insulation board is not less than 30mm.
3, Drill holes at least 10mm deeper than the depth into the wall
4, the number of insulation nails per square meter should be more than 4, and not more than 10;

5) Finally, a layer of plaster mortar can be brushed to complete the construction of the exterior wall insulation layer.
