Earthmother Installation Training: From Materials to On-Site Expertise
From September 8 to 9, installation professionals and partners from Anhui, Hubei, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, and other regions gathered at the Earthmother Jiangsu factory for professional training on interior insulation and dry underfloor heating installation.

For installers, experience is built on real projects and hands-on practice. Every training session is an opportunity to strengthen the details that are often hidden from view—helping create safer, more reliable systems and a more comfortable living experience for homeowners.
Going One Step Further—from Products to Installation
Since entering the underfloor heating accessories industry in 2012, Earthmother has continued to drive improvements in both materials and installation practices, witnessing the industry evolve from experience-led installation toward greater standardization and professionalism.
Products continue to evolve and installation methods continue to improve, but our focus remains the same: from material selection to on-site installation, every part of the hidden system deserves to be done right.

After an introduction to Earthmother, the installers stepped into the production workshop at our Jiangsu factory.
On site, they were able to see the production process behind the XPS Board they work with every day—from 100% virgin raw materials entering the production line, through CO₂ foaming and extrusion, to cutting and final processing.

Materials may be familiar from everyday installation work, but seeing the production process firsthand offers a much clearer understanding of what goes into the product.
For us, responsible material production is not a slogan—it is reflected in every stage of the manufacturing process.
Bringing the Jobsite to the Table
The next session focused on dry underfloor heating systems. Earthmother’s product team introduced the EZ300Pro and EZ350Pro dry underfloor heating panels, explaining their product features, installation principles, and application scenarios.

Both systems use dry installation without traditional wet screeding, helping reduce floor build-up while delivering faster heating response. They are particularly well suited to residential projects and renovations where floor height and heating response are key considerations.
This time, we brought the logic of a real floor plan onto the tabletop.
Using a scaled-down model, the installers worked together around different areas such as living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways. They physically arranged the panel models, adjusted their orientation, and worked through the connections between different spaces.

From using universal turning heads to navigating transitions between rooms and understanding the key installation principles of the Double-S circuit, installers could repeatedly test different layouts directly on the model.
Installation relationships that normally require drawings and on-site experience became much easier to visualize. Once you try it yourself, even a complex installation layout becomes much easier to understand.
From System Knowledge to Hands-On Practice
Interior insulation was another key focus of the training. The product team introduced Earthmother’s residential interior insulation solutions, covering material characteristics, application scenarios, and installation methods.

The project team then demonstrated the installation process using the Earthmother Yinuǎn Board, followed by hands-on practice in groups.
From substrate preparation and board bonding to mechanical anchoring and joint treatment, these steps are familiar to experienced installers. Yet in practice, the final result often depends on the details.

- Proper substrate preparation provides a stable foundation for the installation.
- Correct board bonding ensures close and consistent contact between the insulation board and the wall.
- Appropriate mechanical anchoring helps maintain the overall stability and strength of the system.
- Careful joint treatment contributes to a smoother and more uniform finished wall surface.
Good installation is never about simply being “good enough.” It means taking care of every seemingly ordinary step and getting the details right.
When Installation Is Done Right, Every Home Benefits
For Earthmother, installation training is about much more than simply teaching installers how to install a product.
It is about helping professionals understand the materials, the system, and the design principles behind each solution. When product knowledge and installation expertise come together, better materials can deliver their full potential—and the final beneficiary is always the homeowner.
Because true comfort is built into every detail you cannot see.
